Any ٣D seismic survey can have an acquisition footprint. Our problem is to determine whether we have one and if so, whether we can recognize it,how severe it is and most importantly what we can do about it. In this paper we explain some methods of detection and remove of these noises.Acquisition footprints can be effectively removed from prestack gathers byapplying suitably by notch filter in f-k domain
