Abstract:
The need for electronic auction services has been increasing in recent years. Having secured auctions will encourage more people to join this marketplace. One of the most important reasons for people's lack of tendency to buy their required goods in auctions is that they don't trust auctioneers. In this paper a new highly secure electronic auction protocol (SAP), emphasizing on auctions without full-trusted Auctioneers is proposed. This is provided by ensuring that a real amount of bids will never become revealed to Auctioneer during the Auction and after that. This protocol is designed for sealed-bid auctions and can be used for both first-price and Vickery auctions. Because of SAP's high degree of security, it would be useful for high-security auctions. Since a high degree of security without a full-trusted auctioneer is our main goal, the drawback of our protocol is efficiency. At the end, SAP is compared with some important protocols that have been proposed in the field of ecurity.
