Abstract:
Background: Heart failure is one of the major health challenges at the global level, which is associated with an increase in mortality and a decrease in the quality of life of patients. In this regard, the role of mHealth (mobile Health) has been considered as a new approach in the management of this disease, and this article examines the positive effects of mHealth on improving the outcomes of heart failure patients. Materials and Methods: To access clinical trial articles, search for Persian articles in authoritative Persian databases: Magiran, Iran Doc, SID, and search for English articles in authoritative English databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, ProQuest, was conducted in the period from ۲۰۱۵ to ۲۰۲۳. The steps of data search and analysis were developed based on the Prisma standard guide. Results: In this review study, ۷ studies were included according to the inclusion criteria and after checking the quality of the selected articles, they were examined. Conclusion: The results show that the use of applications and wearable devices can help patients better manage their symptoms, take their medications regularly, and track vital information such as blood pressure and heart rate. Also, direct communication with the treatment team enables early diagnosis of problems and faster interventions.
