Fault tolerance issue in all systems that operate in the real world is the most important in a multi-processor system (especially with the high number of processors) must be considered. We have investigated scope for extending 2-D Routing Function for 2D network on chip. In this paper, we discuss many more effective 2-D NoC fault tolerant routing function and their architecture.
