خلاصه مقاله:
By taking into account all effective factors in population residency and activities in geographicalspace and environment, Optimum Territorial Planning and Spatial Syntax find a direct link todevelopment. As Territorial planning is a map which founds national spacial syntax within thelimits of development’s general goals and policies and as it in most cases tries to analyze socialand economic activities’ spatial aspects, it has a close tie to spatial planning enabling to replaceeach other as they are the same and replaceable. Chaloos City has located in Mazandaran plainand because of that enjoys suitable environmental, economic and social conditions including awast and fertile plain and huge water resources necessary for agriculture, and Chaloos as wellentails some industrial units and many tourism units. Based on this, spatial syntax and appliedplanning of the lands can leads to spatial planning in Chaloos. Here in this research we haveanalyzed the spatial shape of the city by taking into account the most important advantages andcapacities, problems and long term goals of the city by the help of City Development Strategy orCDS Model.
