On the contrary to the traditional closely coupled transformer, the contactless transformer with separated primary and secondary winding is used. contactless transformer has small magnetizing inductance and large leakage inductance comparing with a closely conventional transformer. This paper focus on analysis, optimum design results of A High Frequency AC-AC converter for Inductive power transfer Applications. Contactless energy transmission is already used in many applications Especially in industry and materials handling, lighting, transportation, bio-medical implants, etc.
