Abstract:
Different scenarios of changing system parameters especially loads may lead to the phenomenon of voltage collapse. Voltage collapse is a form of voltage instability that it generally occurs as a result of reactive power deficiency. This paper applies some important voltage stability indices in order to assess the voltage stability in radial distribution system. The study is accomplished sweep backward-forward algorithm based on Kirchoff’s current law (KCL) and Kirchoff’s voltage law (KVL) for evaluating the node voltages iteratively to execute suitable and accurate power flow analysis. The performance of the proposed indices is tested on ١٢ and ٣٣ buses distribution network by incorporating of composite load model.
