خلاصه مقاله:
The aim of this paper is to present an algorithm to find the minimum weight for the composite high pressure vessels. These vessels are extensively used in vehicles with CNG tanks and aerospace applications, where the weight factor is very important. In this work, first, the optimal stacking sequence is determined and then for this stacking sequence the optimum ply thickness is obtained through an iterative optimization approach. Finally, the optimum vessels for different angles are compared to find the minimum weight.
