A new nano solid acid has been prepared from biological source and then an efficientmethod for deprotection of acylals (1,1-diacetates) to their corresponding aldehydes in thepresence of synthetic nano-silica sulfuric acid and MeOH is reported. All the products have beenidentified the the TLC, mp and the spectroscopic analysis
