Abstract:

New materials are made or known with new technology. Experimental investigations examined and introduced some new polymers with uncommon behavior. Poisson ratio of these materials is negative. Poisson ratio is theoretically between -1 and 0.5 while the usual materials have positive Poisson ratio. Molecular structure of these new materials is very simple and regular. Molecular structure of Epoxy and PVDF are modelled for a smart space frame. Structure shell of this space frame has features deformation. This smart space frame has multiple applications and optimizes energy level. Applications of this space frame are useful for amphitheater, stadium, store and green house or etc. changing of the dimensions of the new smart space frame are depending on the user. This paper proposed an algorithm for designing the new smart space frame and formulated the relations between dimensions of frame (length, width and height) and members. An example is designed and controlled using Formian and Matlab software
