Abstract:

This study has been done to focus on the importance of educational management in organizations, mainly educational organizations regarding management performance and with respect to the establishment of total quality management (TQM) which is a characteristic of leading organizations. The participants included 550 staff members in Sama technical and vocational schools and faculties. This study is a descriptive-applied research. As for the instrument a questionnaire was employed. The questionnaire was designed by the present researcher using Likert and Zgvd scales and was validated using a pilot study given to 30 participants along with obtaining Cronbach's α (satisfactory reliability). The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, variance analysis tests, correlation, t-test, and as for the influence of independent variables on dependent variable in analytical model, multivariate regression test was employed. The result revealed management performance with the average of 3.84 out of 5 and standard deviation of 0.28 and performance effectiveness with the average of 5.37 out of 7 and standard deviation of 1.47. Management behavior with staff members and decision-making power associated positively with the effectiveness of management performance while management authority levels had the least influence on management performance. In comparative evaluation, performance effectiveness in Sama schools was higher in comparison to the faculties and yet both are reported to be at satisfactory levels.
