Abstract:

In the present, the role of professors or generally faculty of a university is one of the most important elements ofhigher education in the country and using effective systems of selecting, attraction, maintaining, evaluating anddeveloping them has considerable role in growing students and increasing scientific level o a university. This research isdone with a goal of evaluating the competence of faculty in school of humanities of Broujerd Azad University (using 360degree feedback method), accept the results of the self-evaluation and the efforts towards increasing consensus on goodpractice can increase the effectiveness of the performance appraisal system. 360 degree feedback can be known as newevaluation systems in organizations that by gathering ideas from various resources are looking for more realisticrecognition of individual. Results are shown that there is a significant difference between evaluations of students, head ofdepartment, colleagues and their results.
