Abstract:

High step-up current-fed DC-DC converters are widely used in many applications, such as low voltage grid-connected renewable resources. In this paper a new high step-up current-fed DC-DC converter is proposed based on full-bridge converter. A new switching strategy is used to achieve high voltage gain. Also the converter used a new voltage multiplier which increases voltage gain, in turns. The operation modes of proposed topology are discussed in section II based on new switching strategy, voltage gain is presented in section III. Soft switching conditions are discussed in section IV. Finally the simulation results is presented in section V to validate the characteristics of the proposed converter.
