A Sociolinguistics Study in Applied Linguistics for the Development of Social Behavior and Human Interaction

Sociolinguistics is a very significant and interesting issue in applied linguistics in terms of making a relationship between linguistics, anthropology,and sociology. Although this concept sounds just theoretical, it is a very practical one that all language learners and teachers should be familiar with. The purpose of this research is to introduce sociolinguistics in applied linguistics for the development of social behavior and human interaction. It is adescriptive analysis on different journals to find various ways in order to develop a sociolinguistic skill as well as indicating the importance ofsociolinguistics to language learners. Therefore, many factors are taken into consideration in this paper in order to provide learners and teachers with a helpful finding and implication to be used in language learning and teaching.
