What makes things different is the dynamism of each and every activity so it’s a true picture when considering the world trade and the rest behind it. Shipping is an activity which is very important in world trade. The ports are always adopting methods for futher survival in shipping services. Containerization has begun from 1960’s and almost the entire developed world soon adjusted to the new trend (port) which supported by the world trade. In the late 70’s trade pattern changed to the Far East which shifted most of production basis. Therefore, the needs of container terminals, depots, equipments, new mechanisms, thoughts, were required to cater these changes in shipping and global environment. The other important matter means cost for each activities, how fast, efficient, and cheap was the determined factor each country to develop its container terminals and managing their own ways to achieve targets and objectives. The most important things are the terminal needs to satisfy their basic customer demands, being cheap, efficient, and reliable player. So, in order to do that, a kind of decision making, operational and financial commitments should be taken in the terminal. In this article, the situation the befits that terminals can achieved concerning improvement of operation, procurement and other activities through separation from other port facilities, are fully explored.
