خلاصه مقاله:
This paper discusses the major problem that Armenia faces within the domain of sciencediplomacy and innovation transfer and reveals the ways how to develop a national policy onscience, technology and innovation development so as to compete on the global market with theeconomic giants of the world. In order to enhance the technological performance and carry outgood science diplomacy it is necessary to set up stronger links between various stakeholders,increase interactions between them and incorporate recent research and innovation and technologyfindings into a unified national policy. It is necessary to make an effective use of academia,research institutions, centers and laboratories so as to maintain a cohesive work and to attract moreand more international partners. In order to reach better results Armenia needs to boostcooperation between the public and private sector of economy so as to engage all the possiblesources of innovation development for elaborating favorable creative environment for all theactors of this process. In order to systemize the activities, first of all, the country should monitor itsexisting achievements for identifying the major gaps and problems and plan how to overcomevarious technical, legislative, organizational and contextual barriers for their solving.
