Prediction of symptoms of general health based on the early maladaptive schemas in the university students

The aim of the current study was to predict general health based on early maladaptive schema in the university students. For this purpose, 150 people were selected from the Payam-e-Noor University Student by random cluster sampling. Data collected by Young inventory (YSQ-SF) and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ). Analysis of results by multiple regression method showed that somatization based on schemas Defectiveness / Shame, Entitlement / Grandiosity, abandonment / instability, anxiety based on schemas Subjugation, control / Self- discipline, and depression based on schemas Defectiveness / Shame, Failure, abandonment / instability are predicted.
