Abstract:

An electrochemical investigation of arsenic in arsenic-copper aqueous solutions was carried out in order to assess the possibility of removing it in the form of copper-Arsenic amalgam. Arseniccopper deposit was achieved through different ratios of arsenic-copper in different current dencities. In low concentration of copper and arsenic it shows little yield while in upper quantities its co-deposition accomodate with similar ratio to the arsenic:copper concentration in solutions.
