Abstract:

Traditional methods of well-test analysis are of limited applicability to well-tests carried out in reservoirs. Well-test analysis system with A Parametric Models has been constructed that is based on fast numerical models, rather than the analytical (or semi-analytical) models used in traditionalanalysis. This paper investigates the viability of applying a Parametric Models algorithm to DST data. According to the simulation results, among all standard models, the BJ model with 99.71% fitness can be chosen to model the behavior of the benchmark reservoir.
