خلاصه مقاله:
Nano structure LaBO3(B=Co, Mn) perovskites were synthesized by both sol gel and pechini methods and their properties and activities were studied in catalytic combustion of toluene. LaMnO3 obtained from pechini method exhibited smaller particle size and higher specific surface area as well as higher activity in combustion of toluene. Higher catalytic activity of LaMnO3 is ascribed to nonstoichiometric of chemisorbed oxygen, higher surface area and ease to reduce during oxidation process. The study revealed that pechini method is more promising than sol gel toward catalyst preparation for VOC oxidation process.
