خلاصه مقاله:
A model is developed to investigate the thermophoretic deposition of micro-and nanoparticles on the wall of channel in the presence of temperature gradient. Continuity, momentum and energy equation are solved to determine the velocity and temperature profiles of the system. The results indicate that the dominant mechanism for the deposition of ~ 100 μm particles belongs to inertial impaction. The results reveal that, ~10μm particles are mainly influenced by thermophresis. For finer particles (10nm< particle<1μm), it is demonstrated that depending upon temperature gradient, varied degrees of thermophoresis and Brownian diffusion may contribute on the particle deposition.
