This article proposes an impressive structure of a circular polarized slot antenna (CPSA). The proposed single layer antenna composed of a ground plane embedded with two equal sized T-shaped and one L-shaped strips nearby corners.With juxtapose the previous similar CPSA designs, the axial-ratio bandwidth of the antenna is increased. The designed CPS antenna with its compact 40×40×1.6 mm3 size operates over the frequency band between 2.21 and 10.96 GHz for VSWR<2 exhibiting a 45.3% (3.98–7.94 GHz) circular polarization (CP) bandwidth.
