Abstract:

Performance changes measuring along with strategies and during the time is desirable for top managers. There are various methods for performance assessment. DEA is the best quantitative model for performance measuring. BSC model is a system for performance management along with strategies. For performance change measurement, the performance progress is not suitable criteria and a growth rate of an organization than a growth rate of competitors should be considered. The Malmquist productivity index (MPI) investigates the growth of organization and competitors at the same time. In this paper, the key performance indicators of BSC model is used as variable of DEA model for measuring the efficiency along with strategies. Then, amount of a performance change is measured with the dynamic MPI. The proposed framework of this study is carried out in the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) for measuring the performance change of nine subsidiary refineries as DMUs.
