Abstract:
Wastewaters from textile, paper, and some other industries contain residual dyes, which are not readily biodegradable [1]. Adsorption and chemical coagulation processes are 2 common techniques of wastewater treatment. In this work the removal of organic dye from aqueous solution by adsorption process onto expanded was done. Artificial neural network modeling has been successfully used to investigate the cause effect relationship in the adsorption process. The artificial neural network model could describe the behavior of the complex interaction process with the range of experimental conditions adopted [2, 3]. Simulation based on the artificial neural network model can estimate the behavior of the process under different conditions.
