Abstract:
The reaction of malononitrile with carbonyle and ethylorthoacetate compounds gave theMichel intermadiate. The latter compound under ionic liquid and presence of basic nanoparticles ZnO-MgO ready cyclization when treated with hydrazine carboxy malononitrileto give the 1-(isocyanoacetyl)-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine. This compound underwent aseries of heterocyclization to give either coumarin derivatives.
