Various researches show that vocabulary acquisition is one of the most important needs ofEnglish language learners. In order to investigate the role of vocabulary teaching in Englishlanguage teaching for Iranian EFL learners, in the present study, the most common ways ofvocabulary teaching of Iranian EFL learners was studied. The data showed that learning fromcontext was the most used ways, and other ways like using from examples, synonyms, usingflash cards ,playing roles &conversation were the most used ways in these articles
