خلاصه مقاله:
This study investigated the self-evaluation patterns of English for general academicpurpose teachers (EGAP) and English for specific academic purpose (ESAP) teachers usedduring their teaching process in different English language classes. The participants weretwenty ESAP and EGAP teachers from Behshahr Islamic Azad University, Amol IslamicAzad University and Babolsar State University. Data were collected by using a questionnaireand taking interview which measured the teachers’ self-evaluation patterns in their teachingprocess. The results have indicated that EGAP teachers were more likely to self-evaluate incomparison to ESAP teachers because of their sensitivity and acquaintance to variousteaching methodologies. Furthermore, in conclusion some recommendations for educatorsand teachers have been mentioned.
