Making the design of houses and residential complexes in line with national and cultural values

Iran is considered a society holding many young people. So housing is regarded as a vital need which is accompanied with an inclination toward independent families as well as with an erosion of many available houses. So its essential to devise some methods for the rapid construction of houses. The increasing need of the society for houses, a change in life style, the changes in traditional construction methods, strength needed against earthquakes, the application of modern technology, and the use of modern tools have all been among vital needs. The changes that have happened in the process of reconstruction in our case area have resulted in a change in shape and structure of residential buildings. So it is vital to think up some strategies in determining cultural and national values and apply them in construction. The present study which is a field work used library process to collect data and we processed the data with SPSS program. A questionnaire was also employed. We also gave some practical solutions about the fit between sociocultural values and construction identities.
