خلاصه مقاله:
This paper concentrates on methods of using sustainable architecture in design schools own buildings, which would support and reflect the main educational missions of them. Today we are faced with two major crises; environmental pollution and the completion of fossil fuels so the quest for using renewable energies is rising across the globe. This paper surveys the impact of sustainable architecture in design schools buildings by exploring different considerations in design process accompanied by ways of using renewable energies as an alternative to fossil fuels. A central claim of the paper is that buildings have their own hidden curriculum that teaches us as effectively as any course taught in them. Campuses and buildings that teach sustainability are designed or operated as responsibly as possible. They also often become laboratories for exploring sustainable solutions to environmental problems. Modeling sustainable practices can inspire the surrounding community to become more sustainable.
