Abstract:

The word culture , can be explained in two ways: Material culture and spiritual culture . Material culture is known as all tools and furniture and handicrafts made of natural materials and the methods and processes used for creating them. Spiritual cultural is considered as values, beliefs, thoughts, knowledge and skills, religions, customs, science and philosophy, literature, arts and all products of human brains. In a culture deeply associated with Islamic religion and culture, Islamic identity and culture would have strong effect on structure, theme and schema basics .In the present study, efforts have been made to study the impact of Islamic culture and art on architecture and urbanization in case Masdar city- Dubai .The research process in this study is descriptive and analytic. The results suggest that Islamic culture used in Emarate's urbanization architecture fits people, region and culture of that country, which has found an expression in Masdar project. The structures and patterns used are all visible. Usage of Islamic architecture decorations is stamped on walls, floorings and even in horizontal panels of sky. Proper space division and respect for privacy and publicity is used for Masdar residents. Traditional and historical elements will be used date and active and this city will be designed according to Islamic culture and local and national values and also technology and will be transformed to an Islamic utopia along with the third millennium generation needs. In continuation of the present study, we will try to have it mentioned in brief.
