Low Temprature Plasma Sterilization Compared to Other Sterilization Methods for Sterilizing Biomedical Equipments

Plasma sterilization is an effective and economical sterilization methods. Plasma sterilization is fast evolving into a promising alternative to conventional sterilizing techniques such as heat (autoclave) and chemical (Ethylene oxide) and radiation sterilization. The advantage of plasma sterilization over other methods is due to a collaboration of mechanisms used to accomplish the sterilization process. In this paper at first plasma sterilization is compared to conventional sterilization methods and then four types of plasma sterilization are studied.
