خلاصه مقاله:
The modified Arcan fixture was employed to study the elastic and elastic-plastic behavior of ABS material in the mixedmode fracture. Finite element method was used to model the plate under pure mode I (opening), pure mode II (shearing) and all in plane mixed mode loading angles starting from 0 to 90 degrees for different crack length to widthratio. The fixture consisted of a central section with Compact Tension Specimen that had edge crack. J-integral and crack mouth opening displacement (CMOD) methods were determined by the numerical simulation using commercialFE software ABAQUS/Standard package. The results showed good agreement between the J integral and CMOD theories of ABS plates.
