In the present paper, have been investigated different ways of the operation of the reservoir. This method divides two general categories: optimization and simulation techniques. In this article was introduced profile of ways or methods in the operation of the reservoir and was Expressed Benefit and defects. Optimization ways contain line panning, non-line planning, dynamic planning, random planning, Meta search algorithms and simulation ways includesstandard operation politics and Artificial Neural Networks. The results of study can be helpful for managers in Selection proper operation of the reservoir and researchers who find a comprehensive review from exit ways in operation of the reservoir
