Less is more philosophy in Architecture with concentrate on Islamic & Iranian Art and Architecture

Architecture is an art that in addition to diversity of colors displays the identity and culture. Islamic architecture identity is the same in whole world notwithstanding diversity of languages and civilizations and such diversities are shown from China to Atlas Ocean despite multiculturalism. Iranian architecture also has been stable during the history; this art indicates the way of worldview attitudes, religious beliefs and traditions of people of this land. The Islamic-Iranian architecture is a display of the historical grandeur and piety, the belief to religious learning and derived from Islamic civilization and far away from any materialism. This issue is such that the belief in monotheism and faith in the teachings of Islam as the attitude of Islamaesthetic are shown in Islamic architecture. This article is completed by using descriptive-analytic method and is based on documentary studies tries to study the indicators and principles of Islamic and Iranian architecture regarding to the feature and minimalism (less is more philasophy)basis, and ultimately to identify the features of Islamic-Iranian architecture based on the principles of Minimalism
