خلاصه مقاله:
In this study, a Hydrogen recovery unit (HRU) was simulated with Aspen HYSY software based on the permeation parameters of existence gas components in hollow fiber (HF) module types of UBE Company (A & BH types). Different numbers of modules and their process arrangement at two different feed gas conditions were investigated to reach to the acceptable design criteria. Ten to sixteen numbers of HF modules at single-stage and two-stage arrangement were considered for this simulation. Results showed that two-stage arrangement with module type BH provide the maximum amount of H2 recovery. However, the most acceptable H2 purity and minimum amounts of total inerts in permeate stream were obtained with two-stage arrangement with 16 number of industrial sized modules based on type BH for set 1 and type A for set 2. The different H2selectivity related to other components in these modules and different surface area and feed gas velocity in membrane modules were the reasons of any changes in the main separation parameters.
