خلاصه مقاله:
In this study we want to synthesis xanthenediones from dimedone and aldehyde by acidic nanocatalyst. A highly efficient one-pot synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes from dimedone and various aromatic aldehydes under-solvent free condition catalyzed by acid activated montmorillonite is reported. Montmorillonite is a very soft phyllosilicate group of minerals that typically form in microscopic crystals, forming a clay. The products were formed in excellent yields and the acidic catalyst was completely heterogeneous. The advantages of this method are short reaction times, milder conditions, easy work-up, purification of products by nonchromatographic methods, easy preparation of the nano catalysts simplicity in operation, atom-economy and absence of organic solvents.
