Abstract:

A new extracting sorbent based on magnetic polypyrrole nanocomposite was synthesized by chemical polymerization for micro-solid phase adsorbtion. In this study, magnetic nanoparticles and several types of magnetic polypyrrole nanocomposites were produced. adsorbtion efficiency of the magnetic polypyrrole nanocomposites was compared with magnetic nanoparticles for the determination of fluoxetine in aqueous samples. Influencing parameters on the morphology of magnetic polypyrrole nanocomposite such as weight ratio of components was assayed. Various parameters affecting the adsorbtion and desorption processes such as eluting solvent, amount sorbent, adsorbtion time, component ratio, pH and salinity of aqueous samples were optimized. The detection limit of the method under optimized conditions was 15 μgL−1. The relative standard deviations (n = 5) at a concentration level of 150 μgL−1 was obtained 3 %. The method was linear for at least three orders of magnitude with correlation coefficients 0.9998. The whole procedure showed to be conveniently fast, efficient, selective and economical for adsorbtion of fluoxetine from environmental and biological samples.
