خلاصه مقاله:
The hydrodynamics of a conical spouted bed is simulated using a Eulerian–Eulerian Two-Fluid Model (TFM) including the kinetic theory of granular flows and the simulation verified with the experimental data of other researcher. The results show that the simulations are in good agreement with experimental data. Based on these simulations, the particle velocity profile along the centreline of the spouted bed, lateral particle velocity profile in the spout section and particle concentration distribution in the spouted bed for different particle size and density is reported. The results show that small diameter and low density particles have larger fountain height and higher velocity in spout section.
