خلاصه مقاله:
There are many processes available for production of sulfur from hydrogen sulfide. Some of these processes were designed with the intent of producing sulfur and some were developed with the primary aim of removing H2S from a gas stream with the production of sulfur being merely a result of the process chosen. In view of the reactivity of sulfur compounds, one can propose a number of ways for producing sulfur. This paper focuses on Claus sulfur recovery units from several technologies exist for removal of sulfur compounds from acid or sour gases because of over than 98% sulfur recoveryunits are Claus sulfur recovery units in Iran. Modeling and simulation of sulfur units production (Claus process) is very difficult due to lack of adequate information from the phase equilibrium of different phases and also due to lack of kinetic information. Therefore only one or two process simulationsoftware can simulate this unit. In This work will try to study the researches done on the sulfur and Claus sulfur production units, to find useful information about thermodynamic and physical properties of sulfur compounds in Claus sulfur recovery units. Achieved information will be very useful in prediction of fluid thermodynamic behavior, phase equilibrium and heat transfer.
