An efficient method for the synthesis of mesoporous Fe3O4@SBA-15 is demonstrated. Also, mesoporous Fe3O4@SBA-15 is used as a green catalyst in the synthesis of tetra-substituted imidazoles. This protocol has many advantages such as short reaction time, high yield, easy isolation of the catalyst and solvent-free conditions. We used Wide Angle X-Ray Diffraction (WAXRD) and Small-Angle X-Ray Diffraction (SAXRD) analyzes for the confirmation of the mesoporous production.
