Study of the energy transfer between dyes and newly synthesized silver nanoparticles

New types of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were prepared by the reduction of silver trifluoroacetate withdiamine-sarcophagine (DiAmsar) in DMF solution. Nanoparticles morphology was determined by transmission electronmicroscopy. The energy transfer behaviour between Ag NPs and dye molecules (rhodamine 6G and 4-hydroxycoumarin)were interrogated using Förster/fluorescence res-onance energy transfer and nanomaterial surface energy transfer models.
