Abstract:
In this work, molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) nano/micro spheres were prepared for2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) as a template molecule. The MIPs were synthesized by the precipitationpolymerization method Using methacrylic acid (MAA) as a functional monomer and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate(TRIM) as a cross-linking monomer. The Binding properties and selectivity of imprinted polymers were studied. Resultsfrom binding experiments showed that the imprinted polymers have higher adsorption capacity for 2,4-D than nonimprintedpolymers . selectivity evaluation indicated that imprinted polymers have more tendency to 2,4-D template andhave specific binding sites for 2,4-D.
