Abstract:

Response surface methodology (RSM), based on a Doehlert design was used to optimize four of the mostimportant operating variables (concentrations of catalyst, Luminol, H2O2 and pH effect) at luminol-H2O2 system. Theeffect of mesoporous CoFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles and −cyclodexterin (−CD) -based inclusion complexes ofmesoporous CoFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles on the luminol–H2O2 chemiluminescence (CL) system was investigated. Itwas found that inclusion complexes between −CD and mesoporous CoFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles could greatlyenhance the CL of the luminol–H2O2 system. The oxidation reaction between luminol and H2O2 in basic leads to emissionof blue light. For the CoFe2O4 was introduced as a catalyst for investigation of the luminol-H2O2 CL system usingfluorescence spectroscopy technique. In optimum conditions, it was found that mesoporous CoFe2O4 magneticnanoparticles (MNPs) could enhance the CL intensity, therefore it suggest a good method for evaluation of trace amountH2O2. Results revealed that bentazon (as aherbicide) can dramatically decrease emission signal. As a result it can beintroduced simple, rapid and sensitive CL method for the determination of bentazon. Results showed a linear relationshipbetween bentazon concentration and emission signal intensity with R² = 0.9978 with good linear range of 1-100 ppm.
