خلاصه مقاله:
Nanostructured SAPO-34 and ZSM-5 catalysts are most important catalysts for the MTO process. SAPO-34/ZSM-5 composite catalysts were studied with various ZSM-5 loadings in order to control the light olefins production and increasing lifetime. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by XRD, FESEM and EDX techniques. By increasing ZSM-5 loading, relative crystallinity of ZSM-5 and SAPO-34 phases increased and reduced, respectively. FESEM analysis confirmed formation of ZSM-5 particles beside cubic particles of SAPO-34.The synthesized catalysts were employed in MTO process and results showed by loading ZSM-5, lifetime remarkably increased. Composite catalysts showed longer lifetime compared to pure SAPO-34 sample. For the composite catalysts by high ZSM-5 loading, methanol conversion further reduced with time on stream and tends to value of methanol conversion of pure ZSM-5 sample. The composite catalyst with 20% ZSM-5 loading showed best performance in the MTO process especially in view point of lifetime.
