In this work hydrophobic polysulfone nano-porous membrane modified by chitosan solutionusingdipcoating method for the purpose of reducing protein fouling.PSf supports used in this work were prepared byphase inversion method.Chitosan solution concentration and coating time were varied. Then the membranes wereneutralized with NaOH solution.The chitosan layer wascrosslinked with glutaraldehyde. Membranes were used forremoval of bovine serum albumin (BSA). The modified membrane showed much better anti-fouling performance forthegood hydrophilicity. Water flux decreased while coating time and chitosan concentration increased but proteinrejection and flux recovery increased.
