Effect of Nano zinc oxide on anxiety in streptozotocin induced diabetic adult female rats

The divalent cation Zn2+ is one of the most prevalent trace elements in the human body, essential for bothbrain and systemic physiology. It is a component of a great number of proteins, including enzymes regulating a widevariety of cellular processes and cellular signalling pathways. Previous studies have shown that zinc ions involved inanxiety-related behavior. On the other hand, lack of glucose regulation can increase anxiety in diabetic patients. Due tothe introduction of new medicines Nano drug and effective medications in anxiety disorders and diabetic patients, thepresent study examined the effect of zinc oxide and nano zinc oxide administration on anxiety in Diabetic female rats.
