Some of the newly discovered genes of effector proteins P. infestans, i.e. pathogen molecules that can rebuild the cellular processes of the host plant, the genes are crn1i crn2. Culturing of P. infestans in a liquid culture medium, Preparations of DNA isolated from ten strains P. infestans, were used for amplification with primers and gene fragments crn1 crn2.
