Abstract:

Natural gas hydrates have been a recurring subject in the gas industry because they can pose a serious problem in natural gas production, distribution and storage plants Gas hydrates belong to the group of physical inclusion compounds, which are also designated as clathrate compounds. In the case of gas hydrates, water is the lattice-forming component. Among them are natural gas components such as methane, ethane, propane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. there is few study about multi-component mixture. The experimental method for hydrate phase equilibrium measurement was developed in the 1551s. The basic principle of this method is that one of the three parameters (temperature, pressure, and volume) is kept constant, and the other two are varied for hydrate formation/dissociation. The method can be divided into isothermal, isobaric, and isochoric methods. In the isochoric method, the reactor volume is kept constant, and pressure or temperature is increased or decreased to complete hydrate formation/dissociation. This work can help to prevent hydrate formation from refineries in South Pars Gas Company by isochoric method we used a high pressure apparatus for estimate the hydrate formation temperature and pressure. The results are shown in graphs and tables. The results are unique and it is not reported in other works
