خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper a comparison between vehicle-pedestrian impact in MADYMO simulation and actual case is studied. The cases selected are ones in which the pedestrian’s height and weight are close to a fifty years old adult human male. Three different vehicle speeds at the impact time are investigated. Contact points between the vehicle and pedestrian are recorded. MADYMO simulation is made to estimate the kinematics of the pedestrian during the collision. Results are in good agreement but, generally, real cases head impact angles are steeper than the one suggested by the simulations
