Abstract:

In this paper a single mode polymeric switchable waveguide based on Nematic Liquid Crystal E7 simulated, in COMSOL Multiphysics, and designed. The special proposed structures, with two side wall electrodes, provide us with a faster switching time and better alignment of the LC molecules
